2009: GVT Group forms and registers new charitable limited company - The New Glyn Valley Tramway & Industrial Heritage Trust.
2010: GVT Group dissolves after transfering its assets and goodwill to new Heritage Trust.
2010: Heritage Trust leases former GVT Engine Shed and station yard in Glyn Ceiriog for use as museum visitor centre.
2014-16: Heritage Trust restores former GVT Engine Shed and station yard.
2017: Heritage Trust opens Glyn Valley Tramway & Industrial Heritage Museum.
